Welcome message

When the user starts interacting with your chatbot, the bot will display a so-called welcome message. Usually, it contains some kind of a greeting and on-boarding, like explaining what this bot can do and how to use it.

Plan this message carefully – you never have a second chance to make the first impression. Brand it to your company’s standards and try to make it emotionally appealing.

You can customize your welcome message in the “Welcome message” section of your bot builder.

Optionally, you can add a button to your welcome message. It can be either URL button (for example, to your website or to chatbot’s privacy policy) or event button (to trigger specific chatbot skills when the user clicks it).
